# How to Buy Stocks Without a Brokerage Account

Eligible users can access global stock markets through BBX without opening an account directly with an external brokerage platform.

BBX offers two main types of stock-related products:

1. **Purchasing securities-market stocks through a BBX Stock Account**;
2. **Purchasing selected stock tokens through BBX DEX**: These are on-chain tokenized real-world assets and are distinct from the securities products available through a Stock Account.

These two types of products differ in their asset nature, trading hours, account structures, underlying infrastructure, and holder rights. They should not be confused with each other.

#### I. Purchasing Global Stocks Through a BBX Stock Account

**Do I Need to Open a Separate Brokerage Account?**

Users do not need to open a separate account directly with an external brokerage platform. However, they must still:

* Register and log in to BBX;
* Complete the applicable identity verification process;
* Pass the relevant eligibility and jurisdictional reviews;
* Open a BBX Stock Account as instructed on the platform.

The stock service is not an anonymous on-chain trading service that can be used without verification or review. Access to and use of the service depend on the user’s country or region, identity verification results, applicable laws and regulations, and relevant product terms.

**Which Stocks Can I Buy?**

Through a BBX Stock Account, users can trade more than 6,000 U.S. and Hong Kong stocks using stablecoin funds, covering industries such as technology, finance, consumer goods, healthcare, and energy.

Available stocks, order types, trading hours, and product availability are subject to the real-time information displayed on the BBX stock trading page.

Products purchased through a Stock Account are processed through securities trading infrastructure. They are not stock perpetual contracts or stock tokens that can be withdrawn directly to an on-chain wallet.

**How Are Stock Orders Handled?**

BBX Alpha Limited provides eligible users with access to U.S. securities brokerage infrastructure. Order routing, trade execution, and access to U.S. markets are provided by Atomic Vaults Securities, LLC (AVS). AVS is a broker-dealer registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and is a member of FINRA and SIPC. Securities clearing, settlement, and custody services are provided by RQD Clearing, LLC, a U.S. clearing broker-dealer.

**How Do I Start Buying Stocks?**

**Step 1: Register or Log In to BBX**

Visit the official BBX website and register or log in to your BBX account.

**Step 2: Complete Identity Verification and Open a Stock Account**

Submit the required information as prompted to complete identity verification, eligibility review, and the Stock Account opening process.

**Step 3: Deposit Stablecoins**

Deposit USDT, USDC, or other supported assets into your Funding Account through one of the blockchain networks currently supported by BBX.

Supported deposit assets, blockchain networks, minimum deposit amounts, network fees, and estimated arrival times are subject to the real-time information displayed on the deposit page.

**Step 4: Transfer Funds to Your Stock Account**

Go to the account page and transfer the funds required for trading from your Funding Account to your Stock Account. Complete any required currency conversion or funding preparation as instructed on the page.

Account transfers may be subject to minimum transfer amounts, applicable fees, blockchain confirmation requirements, and processing times. Please refer to the information displayed in the transfer window.

**Step 5: Select a Stock and Place an Order**

Go to the stock trading page and search for the ticker symbol or company name of the stock you wish to trade.

After confirming the stock name, market, order type, price, and trading quantity, submit your buy order.

Stock trading follows the trading hours, holiday schedules, order rules, and liquidity conditions of the relevant securities market. Not all stocks support 24/7 trading.

**Step 6: View Your Orders and Holdings**

After submitting an order, you can view the following information in your Stock Account:

* Current order status;
* Historical orders and trade records;
* Stock holdings;
* Cost basis and market value;
* Account balances and related records.

The information displayed and the applicable calculation methods are subject to the BBX interface and the relevant account agreements.

#### II. Purchasing Stock Tokens Through BBX DEX

In addition to the securities products available through Stock Accounts, BBX DEX may also provide selected stock-related tokenized real-world assets (RWAs).

Through a multi-party framework involving relevant issuers, custodians, compliance service providers, and blockchain infrastructure partners, BBX provides users with access to selected tokenized real-world assets (RWAs).

Subject to applicable product terms, liquidity, network availability, and regulatory restrictions, these products may support trading and on-chain transfers outside traditional market hours.

**How Are Stock Tokens Different from Stocks Held in a Stock Account?**

Stock tokens are digital assets issued and transferred on a blockchain. They are not the same as securities-market stocks purchased through a BBX Stock Account.

Holding a stock token should not be understood as directly holding shares in the corresponding company. It also does not necessarily or automatically grant shareholder voting rights, dividend rights, or other securities-holder rights.

**How Do I Purchase Stock Tokens?**

If a relevant stock token is listed on BBX DEX, users can generally:

1. Register or log in to BBX;
2. Deposit supported assets into the Funding Account;
3. Transfer the assets required for trading to the Spot Account;
4. Go to the BBX DEX spot trading page;
5. Select the relevant stock token trading pair and place an order.

Supported stock tokens, trading pairs, quote assets, trading hours, and on-chain transfer functionality are subject to the real-time information displayed on BBX DEX and the applicable product terms.
